ECOCERT has developed a series of standards in the environmental field for the certification of products with environmental objectives. Following the certification of Organic cosmetics, ECOCERT now proposes an audit of Ecological or Organic Mood Fragrances, Ecological Detergents and Organic Textiles.

The basic principles of the organic textile standard are as follows:

  To protect our planet and its resources by insisting on the use of a minimum percentage of fibres produced by Organic Farming (70 or 95% depending on the label).
  To protect and inform the consumer: by stating exhaustive composition details of the product and the percentages of organic fibres, guaranteeing the traceability of ingredients during manufacture.
  To promote the know-how of manufacturers concerned with improving the quality of their supplies and products.

Thanks to the audits conducted by ECOCERT on manufacturing, packaging and distribution sites, ECOCERT ensures that labeled products comply with all the requirements of the standard in question.
